The Global Ties U.S. 2024 National Meeting took place March 5-8 and brought together our international exchange Network under the theme, Diplomacy in Action: Raising Community Voices. This premier international exchange gathering brought together more than 600 public diplomacy professionals at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA.
International exchange programs have long been a way to humanize foreign affairs, and are a powerful platform to create a greater sense of civic engagement, community pride, and appreciation of diverse cultural groups. The 2024 theme dove into the critical, socio-cultural impact of our work and served as a call to action to ensure we reflect the rich diversity of the United States.
