Updated resources for 2025 Advocacy Day are now available and more will be added before Tuesday, February 18.
Resource Overview
- FY23 National and Local Impact Reports
Produced annually based on data from our members, these reports detail the overall national economic impact of the Global Ties Network, as well as the local economic impact for each of our Community-Based Member organizations and their communities.
- Methodology Statement
Impact Reports are produced from data self-reported by almost 80 Community-Based Member (CBM) organizations across the United States. Learn more about the methodology HERE.

- Global Ties U.S. Community Impact Study
The Global Ties U.S. Community Impact Study is the only study of its kind to focus on the benefits that local people and communities derive from participating in exchange programs like the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) — benefits that include U.S. workforce development and community-building. - Outreach Template
Our outreach template is a customizable framework. Please use or adapt this template to reach out to your congressional office to request a meeting on Global Ties Network Advocacy Day, February 18. - Factsheets on Global Ties U.S. & the Global Ties Network (2025 materials coming soon)
These one-pagers describe our organization and our Network, including highlights of our work and impacts of our programs.
- Leave Behinds & Talking Points (2025 materials coming soon)
Updated for the Global Ties Network Advocacy Day each year, this set of resources supports the “ask” for funding to support educational and cultural exchange programs. The talking points are intended to support our members and supporters in their meetings with congressional staff, so they can effectively communicate the impact of exchange and the need for support for these programs.
We are proud to partner with the Alliance for International Exchange and the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC). Learn more and see their resources at the links above.
