The 2019 National Meeting took place January 23-26 in Washington, DC at the Marriott Wardman Park.
Under the theme of “The Exchange Effect: Growing Impact at Home and Abroad,” this multiday event explored the effects exchange programs on both international exchange participants, as well as the Americans who host them during their visit to the United States.
Speakers and attendees from the U.S. Government, exchange program implementing agencies, and our network of more than 100 member organizations shared and discussed the impact exchange programs leave on individuals and communities—both at home and abroad—in building a more peaceful, prosperous world.
